Energy Policy
The Public Prosecution Department in Ras Al Khaimah is committed to conducting its business and operations in an energy-efficient manner, thereby reducing its environmental impact and carbon footprint while achieving continuous improvement in energy performance in line with the goals of the Ras Al Khaimah Government for sustainability, which aims to protect the environment and reduce environmental impact. The Public Prosecution Department will comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements related to energy efficiency, energy use, and energy consumption.
The Public Prosecution Department in Ras Al Khaimah will:
- Implement an energy management system to identify, manage, and review energy-related goals and objectives for sustainability.
- Ensure the availability of information and resources to achieve these goals and objectives.
- Ensure that when purchasing products or designing engineering plans, energy efficiency is considered as part of the total cost, and suppliers are qualified where possible.
- Implement energy-saving opportunities that provide a viable economic return on investment and are complementary to the sustainability vision of the Ras Al Khaimah Government to be a sustainable emirate.
- Provide employees with the necessary awareness, education, and training to implement energy management and conservation indicators according to ISO standards.
- Communicate the energy policy to all employees, business partners, and the public.
- Periodically review and assess this policy as necessary.
